We offer surf lessons all year round by highly experienced, multi lingual and qualified instructors (Canarian Surf Federation & ISA). Our goal is for each student to progress to the next surfing level as fast as possible! The surf lessons can be booked with or without accommodation in our Surf Camp.

SURF SCHOOL FUERTEVENTURA – COURSES
BEGINNER SURF COURSE
You are new to surfing? Or you surfed already a couple of days but want to refresh the Basics? Then join our beginner course and learn how to surf step by step.
The aim is to get you up on the board from day one. Our surf lessons always incorporate a portion on land and plenty of time in the water.
During a several day beginner course, you will go through topics like safety rules, paddling technique and how to take-off. Once you are comfortable to take off in the white water, you will learn how to paddle out to the line up and take off in green waves and how to turn sidewards. We can guarantee a lot of laughs and amazing memories.
INTERMEDIATE SURF COURSE
You have already some surf experience, can get up easily and stand comfortably on the board, turn sideways? Then our intermediate course is the right choice for you. In this course, we will go deeper into surfing knowledge and theory. Wave reading and positioning in the water will be important topics of this course. You will surf more challenging spots, often reef breaks, and will get familiar with terms like bottom turn and cutback. Further you will learn how to generate speed and use the power zone of the wave. Our instructors will evaluate your skills to determine what points to work on with you more specifically to ensure a fast progression.
PRIVATE SURF LESSONS
Get all the attention of the surf instructor. During private lessons, you will have an instructor all for yourself or for your group of friends/family. Private lessons are available for all levels and they guarentee the best possible results in a short amount of time. The instructor will help you to set and achieve your surfing goals as fast as possible.
Private lessons can also be combined with group lessons.
SURF SCHOOL FUERTEVENTURA – FAQ’s
WHAT DOES A TYPICAL SURFING DAY LOOK LIKE?
Typical surf day
We meet 15 minutes before departure time at the Surf School in Corralejo to collect our equipment. For private surf lessons, we can pick you up at your hotel in Corralejo. Upon arrival to our surf spot, you will receive a safety briefing for the location and conditions. After that, we continue with some theory, a warm up and dry training. We then enter the water to put this into practice. After the class has finished, we will collect the equipment, change from our wetsuits, load up the van and head back to the Surf Camp & School. Upon arrival at the Surf School, we will store our boards and rinse off the wetsuits.
WHERE DO THE LESSONS TAKE PLACE?
Where?
Our Surf School is located in the north of Fuerteventura, where you find the most consistent surf spots of the island. The surf lessons take place on different beaches, according to the weather conditions. We always choose the beach that adapts best to your surfing level. The spots we are heading to are located on 3 different coasts, reachable within 5 – 20 driving minutes: the east coast, north shore and the west coast. All these spots are working with different swell and wind directions which means that there is always a good wave to surf for your level.
WHEN DO THE LESSONS START?
When?
Our surf lessons start usually in the morning around 10 am but our schedule is flexible so that we can adapt to tides and conditions. The exact time is fixed a couple of days before the lesson.
WHAT TYPES OF BOARDS ARE USED IN THE LESSONS?
Board selecion
We have a big selection of soft and semi softboards in different shapes and sizes between 6`6 and 9`0. Hardboards are not allowed in the lessons, exceptions can be made with own material if the instructor gives approval.
